Pre-DSE Paper 1 Reading and Grammar Practice
In this course you’ll learn to use question tags for confirmation in conversation and writing. You’ll also master various tenses (present, past, future) in both spoken and written English. Additionally, we’ll delve into understanding gerunds (verbs ending in -ing used as nouns), accurately using infinitives (to + base verb form) in different sentence structures, and applying past participles (typically -ed or -en forms) in various contexts. Furthermore, we’ll practise proofreading to correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors, and explore sentence transformation techniques. Lastly, we’ll discuss different text types, including narratives, expository essays, and argumentative articles
